Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's best-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to detect objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so you can tell it to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills easily leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas that you don't want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.
automatic vacuum cleaner is also superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System is also self-emptying which will cut down your cleaning time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it around the floor. It even managed to capture sand and small gravel which other robots aren't able to do. It did without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
Although it's not as efficient as the Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's hard to determine whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house at the same time. These bots also have many additional features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not have some of the more premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is also excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas or alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also features an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people but it can assist you in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are some of the top available however, it's also expensive.
It's a small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Many other robots require you to do this.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that does very well at cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning area for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want an automated vacuum that can do it all.
However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other great choices on the market which include a variety of eufy models for considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with more features like stair climbing, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's simple to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be placed near an outlet and have enough space to move.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It can be placed under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its competitors. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path. It keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it began.
The sleek G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has similar battery life and performs better on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
